User settings
All user settings are saved using the localStorage
of your web browser. Any changes you make will persist even if you log out of Tables, close your browser window or quit your web browser – provided your web browser does not erase the contents of localStore
upon exiting.
Settings are accessible via the menu item called Settings in the user menu on the right-hand side of the navigation bar.
You can customise the following settings:
Breadcrumbs
Choose either of the following settings for listing tables as breadcrumb items:
- All tables: List all tables in the drop-down menu.
- Tables of the same collection: Only list tables nested in the same collection as the table currently displayed.
Table view
- Rows per page. Denotes the number of table rows displayed on screen. If a table has more rows, Tables lets you browse through the data set via a pagination panel, one page at a time.
- Action triggered when clicking a table cell.
- Edit table cell. Open a dialogue to edit a single table cell.
- Edit table row. Edit the contents of the entire table row.
- List table row. List the contents of the table row.
Formatting
- Date format. Time stamps are either rendered in ISO format specified against UTC (default), or use the settings specified in your web browser.
Main table index
- Initial state for listing collections. When listing collections, this state determines whether nested items are displayed immediately or upon request.
Reset settings
To reset all settings and overwrite them with the default settings of Tables click the red button called ‘Clear’.
